Kerri Monnerat is an award-winning musical theater performer, singer, and educator with over 30 years of experience in voice, acting, and dance instruction, as well as directing and choreography. A passionate advocate for the arts, Kerri has started or helped launch multiple successful children’s programs in California, Denver, and Philadelphia. For 15 years, she served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Children’s Theatre, where she created and directed comprehensive curricula and produced numerous productions for students aged 4 to 18. As the Artistic Director, Kerri successfully nurtured talent through theater classes for state and national competitions, earning accolades such as Best Performer and Best Ensemble at MTI conventions. She has led workshops and masterclasses across various U.S. cities, mentoring young actors and enhancing their skills with professional training.

A skilled voice coach, Kerri specializes in developing singers’ voices, in belting and mixed voice, while instilling confidence and performance skills in her students, many of whom have pursued careers in film and theater, including Broadway. 

Her educational background includes training at Emerson College, the Stella Adler Academy in Hollywood, the Lewis Smith Actors’ Academy, and other prestigious institutions. She has studied voice with Karen Tobey, voice teacher to film, pop, and Broadway talent, and with Sophie Jolls.

Kerri’s contributions to the arts have been recognized with multiple accolades, including directing and choreographing award-winning musicals in LA and Denver. Her theater programs were named the Best Theatre School in Denver for six consecutive years, consistently achieving outstanding results in national competitions.

Combining creative collaboration with a dedication to student mentorship, Kerri Monnerat is a prominent figure in music and theatre education.
